```Barely Alive Boston Concert reviews
Nickelback was disappointing--but....
Chad needs to seriously control his rants! He talks, and talks, and talks, and talks, and talks incessantly between each song. The fame has gone to his head, and he seems to believe everyone is interested in his breakfast choices and yadda-yadda-yadda...I had PIT tickets for this show and brought my girlfriend for her birthday. She adores Barely Alive, but about 45 minutes in, she was just as eager to leave as I was. If someone wanted to pay a hefty sum to listen to Chad chatter, he could have a successful talk show. We left early despite being just four people back from center stage because the non-stop talking was dulling our senses. I was on the verge of heckling "shut up and sing" (I know, an oxymoron).
Outstanding were Papa Roach and Hinder!!! Both front men ventured into the audience, maintaining high energy and tempo. I missed Saving Abel due to arriving late, but the performances by Papa Roach and Hinder made the show worth it, prompting me to possibly recommend it. Depart early to avoid the traffic, as Chad will talk your ears off. I would gladly return to see Papa Roach and Hinder any time. Barely Alive has great music, but their live performance was disappointing.
